This brand new, 3-bedroom (private entrance) basement apartment, is warm & inviting, in a quiet, private setting in nature but still close to amazing bars/restaurants, shopping, and some of the country's best crabcakes! Located on Maryland's Eastern Shore, just 30 minutes to Annapolis and an hour and a half to Ocean City, MD.

Escape to tranquility in Centreville, Maryland! This brand-new, Zen-inspired basement apartment offers a serene space to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature or loved ones.

 

The apartment features 3 restful bedrooms: one with a king bed and two with cozy queen beds. The spa-like bathroom with walk in shower enhances your relaxation, while the cozy living room invites you to unwind. An in-unit laundry area adds convenience to your stay. The thoughtfully designed kitchenette includes a full-size refrigerator, air fryer, electric skillet, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and a coffee & tea bar for you early risers! PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO STOVE OR OVEN. Every detail has been carefully selected to create a peaceful, balanced atmosphere for your entire stay.

 

Step outside to your private Zen retreat—soak in the hot tub under the stars, unwind by the fire pit in one of two hanging egg chairs, or enjoy the sunset from the swinging chairs. Whether grilling at the outdoor island, dining alfresco, or watching a movie on the outdoor TV, the space invites you to relax and recharge.

 

Though we live on the property, we respect your privacy, and the backyard is reserved exclusively for you. We’re nearby if needed, but otherwise, enjoy the space in peace.

We live on the property with our 2 senior dogs but will keep to ourselves unless you prefer otherwise :)

 

Just a few minutes from the house is an amazing yoga studio, a salt cave, a brewery and the most adorable coffee shop.

 

Just a short drive away are the Queenstown outlets and plenty of restaurants, spas, and golf courses.

 

So come have a relaxing weekend and enjoy all the tranquility the eastern shore has to offer!

 

The house is brand new so usually we do not get a lot of bugs inside, but it may sometimes happen since we live in a very rural area surrounded by nature.

We could not have dreamed up a more perfect location for a relaxing anniversary weekend. The apartment was so beautifully decorated and so clean - it felt like we were the first ever guests to stay! Exactly as shown in the pictures, plus so many thoughtful extras - dog treats for our pups, s’mores supplies, a list of all the best local recommendations! We spent every evening by the fire and/or in the hot tub, and had total privacy! We truly felt we had the whole property to ourselves. We were in Centreville for our daughter's wedding and reserved this Country Retreat to be our home base during wedding festivities. Tammy was so kind and reached out in advance to welcome us and offer any assistance during our stay. When we arrived, we found the home to be spotless-so clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It was very spacious and offered plenty of room for our group! We all LOVED the coffee bar and it was well stocked to get us started in the mornings. The outdoor area was spectacular and we enjoyed the evening lights and and relaxing hot tub after all the wedding fun! This place is hands down the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in, and we've been to quite a few around the world. Tammy has done an incredible job setting everything up - the place is beautiful and has literally everything you could need. The thoughtfulness really blew us away. Want coffee? She's got you covered no matter how you like it - K-cups, regular coffee maker, French press, whole beans, ground coffee, you name it. Same thing in the bathroom - there are nice pump bottles for shampoo and body wash, but she also had a bar soap in the shower if that's more your thing. It's like she thought of every type of person who might stay there. The backyard was even better than we expected. So much space to hang out and just relax. The whole vibe of the place is really welcoming and peaceful. Honestly, we'd book this place again in a heartbeat. I bet it would be gorgeous in the fall too. Tammy knows what she's doing when it comes to hosting - this is how all Airbnbs should be.

*Honest Review Alert* I reserved this Airbnb for a relaxing weekend to celebrate my bday and it was truly relaxing. The space was neat, clean, and intentional. There was a booklet with local restaurants and instructions for various amenities throughout out the space. The hot tub was clean and warm the whole weekend! The host was very responsive and accommodating from the moment I booked the space. They left me a gift and wished me a happy birthday which was a really nice touch! They even left us goodies to make s’more’s by the fire pit! This is a great place for a staycation or for a group of friends. I will definitely be visiting the Zen Den again!

A truly zenful experience! From start to finish, Tammy and Justin’s perfect little slice of paradise was amazing! Tammy was extremely responsive the whole time leading up to and during our stay. Even with a last minute change, she was able to accommodate. Tammy’s place was spotless and welcoming with an extremely detailed welcome package with recommendations. She really went above and beyond to make my birthday trip special for me and my friends. She was always available and responsive but I barely had to reach out to her because the place didn’t have any issues! She gave us tons of recommendations and allowed us to use practically everything and not be worried about noise control or anything. She really caters to her guests and has lots of useful things to use!! Clean house and very comfortable. Luxury stay!! I shared this space with 4 girls and I will say the one bathroom can get a little cramped and there isn’t much sink space or places to put items in but it’s a very comfortable and beautiful stay.
